Of course, there are serious and long-lasting consequences (side effects) from messing around with this system that most of us are familiar with --- like suicide, homicide, permanent brain damage, depression, mania, seizures, permanent worm-like movement disorders, seizures, death and so on.

 

In fact, the brains of children may be particularly susceptible to these poisoning events but SSRI pushers have found a great market in kids: they live a long time after they start on the drugs (mostly), stay on them pretty much forever and they have no say in the matter, so no matter how awful it makes them feel, they have to take the stuff if grown ups tell them to. Even after they try to kill themselves (unless they succeed) or someone else, they get kept on the drug and more drugs are usually added.

 

If that weren't awful enough (and Mother and I think it's pretty awful), Mother's been at her thrifty work again. She uses the very same serotonin system at the place where new bones are being formed - their surfaces. So, after dosing kids with these dangerous substances whose "adverse events" lead to higher doses and more drugs like the first (because the "side effects" are very similar to what got the person on the drugs in the first place), we learned that some of these kids were developing old people's weak bones -- osteoporosis.

Singing the Blues in B (Flat)

 

Yesterday the FDA announced that a long list of antibiotics will finally require a new "Black Box Warning" label because of their previously ignored dangers in a surprising area: tendon damage.

 

Well known and widely over-used and misprescribed antibiotics like Cipro (R) can be associated with a three-fold increase of a painful and potentially crippling condition in which a tendon ruptures.  Tendons are poorly supplied with blood so they do not heal well but they are richly supplied with nerves so damage to them is exquisitely painful.

 

Vitamin B 6 and other B Vitamins are either made by good bacteria or processed in the gut.  When they are suppressed or blocked, nutritional deficits result which have profound effects all over the body.  So, in addition to killing beneficial bacteria and interfering with the control of fungus like Candida, antibiotics deprive your body of nutrients it needs for health.

 

Tendons are very sensitive to B6 and other B Vitamin deficiencies  so it should come as no surprise that killing off the bacteria in the gut and blocking the uptake and action of B6 would lead to - guess what - tendon rupture.  You see, we share a lot of enzymes with bacteria (remember, Mother is thrifty) and poisoning them poisons us at the same time, no matter what the drug companies don't want to tell you.

No surprise there. Vitamin B 6 (pyridoxine) interferes with the absorption of these antibiotics and they interfere with its actions. Biochemistry is biochemistry.  Physiology is physiology and no amount of marketing will change that. 

 

Avalanche on Side Effect Mountain

 

When you look at the list of awful, but anticipated, unfortunate consequences of poisoning enzyme systems (which is the common mechanism by which every drug achieves its effects, anticipated or not), you are looking at the tip of the tip of the tip of the top of the mountain: Side Effect Mountain.

Tumbling down Side Effect Mountain can kill you or make you very, very sick, and then kill you, especially if more than one drug is involved in what is mistakenly called "Health Care" but is better called "Illness Care".  Remember, PROPERLY used drugs have long been known to be the single leading cause of death in the US and other "developed" nations.  Of course, that contributes greatly to the wretched showing that the US makes in every international health index ranking.  You get sick (usually because of toxicity and underlying nturient under-nutrition) and then you take drugs.  The drugs make you sick(er) and you are given more drugs.  They make you sicker still and, after enough chemical assaults on your precious enzymes, whichare, after all, the very stuff of life, you die.  Generally, however, you live long enough to generate huge profits for the Illness Business.

 

Even the term "side effects" makes it sound like the sometimes disastrous, and frequently lethal, unintended consequences of drugs (combined with chronic nutrition deficits from our industrialized diet), are a surprise. They are not.

 

Although they may truly be unintended, adverse effects are not unanticipated - they are well known and widely catalogued in such widely available resources as the Physician's Desk Reference (c) or PDR (c) which lists a truly horrifying, and not necessarily uncommon, list of adverse events for each and every drug.

 

Now, these adverse events are the ones left AFTER the drug companies eliminate any one who does not respond well to the drug BEFORE the drug trial and then chuck out people who have adverse events during the trials or who die - those people's adverse events are usually not counted because they did not "finish the trial."

 

The same anticipated risk of harm is especially true with vaccination... which, as you well know, is an uninsurable risk.  Think about that for a moment: no parent, doctor or drug company can buy insurance against the anticipated harm caused by vaccinations, that's why the government adds a tax to the cost of each shot, to fund the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program that has paid out over two billion dollars to the families of kids killed or maimed by vaccinations. And that's one reason why Natural Solutions Foundation is so opposed to mandated vaccinations.

 

As Jim Turner, a cursading attorney and health freedom leader (and the Chairman of the board of Citizens for Health) says, "Any nation which insists upon injecting its children with toxic substances despite their toxic effects is a nation with serious moral problems."  He's right, but the problems extend to drug treatments which make people ill and then elicit further drug treatment!

For Shame!

 

What's fascinating, of course, is that Natural Solutions for gaining and maintaining health, such as vitamins, minerals, herbs and so on do not work the same way that drugs do.  They support enzyme function, not poison it.  That's why their safety margin is so astonishingly good (no deaths, no dangers, virtually no side effects, no bodies for a coronor to examine!) and their dangers have to be trumped up, created and trumpeted by the drug companies to make misinformed people shy away from them.

 

That is, sadly, one of the reasons that what used to be respectable Medical Journals are such corrupt and poor information sources today.  The scandals and exposes ab out this degredation because of the corrupting influence of corporate science (purblished only because of huge corporate advertising budgets which keep the journals afloat) are legion, so are the best selling books and widely read articles documenting it.  But the FDA continues on as if drugs and vaccines were safe and allowing them was somehow "protecting public health" and the corporate junk science is pushed out without shame.

 

So those of us who want to use natural methods of health care and therapy, which are the leading economic competitor to drugs and corporate-sponsored illness, have to be prepared to not only be informed and find practitioners who are informed, we have to be prepared to pay for lunch, too.

 

Just as we cannot expect to get away with poisoning ourselves and not paying for it, we cannot let the drug companies, inside and outside of government, pay for their lunches with their huge budgets, conflicts of interest and revolving door policies with the FDA and medical schools, journals, etc., and trust them to keep our first choices, natural medicine and clean food, safe.  Their interest is in just the opposit outcome!

Both natural medicine and clean, unadulterated food cut away at the profits of the largest industry on earth, one that makes a profit every single time you or someone you live is sick, and the sicker and longer the better.
